Ukrainian border guards and artillerymen destroyed the Russian Shilka self-propelled anti-aircraft launcher (video)
The Ukrainian military destroyed one of the enemy's air defenses in the Kharkiv region.
What we know
We are talking about anti-aircraft self-propelled machine gun "Shilka". Video of the destruction of the SAM was published by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The anti-aircraft gun was spotted by border guards during aerial reconnaissance. After that it was hit by our artillerymen.
For those who do not know
"Shilka" is an anti-aircraft self-propelled machine gun of Soviet production. It is designed for anti-aircraft defense of ground troops, destroying air targets at speeds up to 450 m/s, at ranges up to 2500 meters and altitudes up to 1500 meters, as well as ground (surface) targets at ranges up to 2000 meters from the ground. It has a four-barreled 23-mm cannon, which is capable of firing up to 44 rounds per minute. The ammunition of the anti-aircraft gun consists of 2,000 rounds.
