Britain's AS-90 howitzer destroys three Russian D-30 artillery pieces
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have successfully used British weapons at the front. For example, the AS-90 howitzer has destroyed three Russian D-30 artillery units.

Ukrainian air reconnaissance detected Russian towed howitzers in Zaporizhzhya region. This was followed by a British AS-90, which was able to successfully hit targets some 6km away from the front line.
The AS-90 is a self-propelled howitzer developed by Vickers Shipbuilding and Engineering, a division of BAE Systems. It is equipped with a 155mm, 39-calibre or 52-calibre barrel and can destroy targets at distances of up to 24.7 km or 30 km respectively.
The combat vehicle has a tracked chassis. It is powered by a 660 horsepower turbo diesel engine. It enables a speed of 55 km/h.
