Ukrainian FPV drone destroys Russian surveillance tower at record distance

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to successfully use low-cost kamikaze drones based on conventional FPV drones. One such drone recently set a curious record.

An Immaterium unit destroyed a Russian surveillance tower using an FPV drone. Importantly, the drone hit the target, which was 9 km away from the launch point. This is a record for FPV drones.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have many FPV drones that operate in kamikaze mode. The cost of such drones is $300-1000.
