Brazil donated 10 M108 self-propelled howitzers and 11 Engesa EE-11 Urutu armored vehicles to Uruguay
Uruguay received 21 armored vehicles free of charge from Brazil. These are Engesa EE-11 Urutu armored vehicles and M108 self-propelled artillery units.
Here's What We Know
The equipment will not immediately go into service with the Uruguayan army. First, the armored vehicles and self-propelled howitzers will undergo maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the military.

Brazil sent 11 EE-11 Urutu armored vehicles and 10 M108 self-propelled tracked artillery units to Uruguay, which were withdrawn from service several years ago. Instead, the Brazilians armed themselves with M109A5+ howitzers.
