B-52 Stratofortress nuclear bombers spotted 25km from Ukraine
This week, B-52 Stratofortress strategic jets conducted several missions over Europe. In particular, two planes were spotted a few dozen kilometres away from Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
At the end of February, the nuclear bombers were redeployed to Spain, where they are still deployed. On 6 March, the planes carried out a 12-hour mission in which they flew over Denmark, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

On March 9, two strategic bombers visited Romania and Bulgaria. While in Romanian skies, the planes flew 25km from the Ukrainian border south of the Odessa region.
