Volunteers from Ukraine have started work on a cruise missile. It is called Trembita. Engineers of PARS design bureau and volunteers of the public organization "Videsich" are working on the development of the new rocket.
Here's What We Know
The rocket will carry a 20-litre petrol-powered, pulsating air-jet engine. It will be used to hit enemy targets far beyond the front lines and to deplete enemy air defences.
The Trembita will have a weight of 100 kg and a launch range of 140 km. The weight of the warhead will be 20 kg. It can be thermobaric or combined high-explosive fragmentation charge. The missile will travel at altitudes from 30 meters to 3 km and will be able to reach speeds of over 400 km/h in flight.
