The US is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine, which will include Javelin anti-tank systems, as well as missiles for Patriot and HIMARS

According to Reuters, the US government is going to announce today, 8 August, a new military aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Here's What We Know

The new aid package will be worth $200,000,000 and will include demining equipment, TOW and AT4 anti-tank weapons, Javelin anti-tank missiles, as well as ammunition for Patriot air defence systems and HIMARS multiple rocket launchers. The weapons are planned to be taken from the US Army stockpile, so deliveries should begin immediately.

By the way, according to CNN, the US government has also submitted a request for increased funding for Ukraine. It is planned to be considered in Congress this autumn.
