Clarification from Xbox: Baldur's Gate III on the Series S may get a split-screen mode, but somewhat later on
A few days ago, Larian Studios head Swen Vincke announced that they have reached a compromise with Microsoft and will still release Baldur's Gate III on Xbox Series before the end of 2023.
However, there will be one nuance: the version of the game for the weak Xbox Series S console will be released without split-screen mode.

Many users thought that SplitScreen on the Series S will never appear, but according to Xbox representatives, they are still working with Larian Studios to implement this option, and it may still appear on said consoles some time after release.

Baldur's Gate III is already available on PC and has been a huge success, and it's coming to PlayStation 5 on 6 September. A release date for the game on Xbox has not yet been announced.
