From Microsoft documents: The Elder Scrolls VI won't be coming to PlayStation consoles, and the game won't be released until 2026 at the earliest
As part of the proceedings on the merger of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard, the American corporation has provided a document, the information of which will interest fans of The Elder Scrolls franchise.
Here's What We Know
Recently, the head of Xbox Phil Spencer gave an interview in which he said that he does not rule out that the new game from Bethesda Game Studios will be available on PlayStation.
However, the document provided in court clearly states that The Elder Scrolls VI will only be released on PC and Xbox consoles.
As a consolation to PlayStation players, the same document says that The Elder Scrolls VI will be released no earlier than 2026, while earlier Phil Spencer said that the game is still at least five years away from release (2028), and during this time something may change and the new RPG will be released on PlayStation.
