Xiaomi to unveil four Redmi K50 smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen1, Dimensity 9000, Dimensity 8000 and Snapdragon 870 processors

Xiaomi in February announces four smartphones of the Redmi K50 family at once. Like last year, we'll see a standard model, Pro and Pro+ versions, and a Gaming Edition.

What is known

All smartphones will be equipped with different Qualcomm and MediaTek mobile processors. Moreover, the distribution of single-chip systems looks very ambiguous:

• Redmi K50 - Dimension 8000
• Redmi K50 Pro - Snapdragon 870
• Redmi K50 Pro+ – Dimension 9000
• Redmi K50 Gaming Edition - Snapdragon 8 Gen1

Recall that the 40th series debuted at the end of February 2021. Redmi K40 received the Snapdragon 870, while the Pro and Pro + versions were equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chip. In the spring, the company introduced a gaming model on the Dimensity 1200.
