Now it's official: the Galaxy Unpacked presentation, which will present the Galaxy S22 smartphones, will take place on February 9

After several months of rumors and leaks, Samsung has announced the date of the next major presentation of the Galaxy Unpacked.

When to expect

So, the event will take place on February 9th. That is in two weeks. You can watch the announcement online on the official YouTube channel of the manufacturer. The broadcast starts at 17:00 Kyiv time.

What to expect

The main highlight of the program will be the flagship line of smartphones Galaxy S22. It will include three models: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Apparatus families will receive Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processors (depending on region) and displays with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Galaxy S22 is credited with 6.06 inch display, triple main camera (50 + 12 + 10 MP) and a 3700 mAh battery. Galaxy S22+, in turn, will have a 6.55-inch screen, the same camera and a 4500 mAh battery. The older Galaxy S22 Ultra should get a curved 6.81 inch AMOLED display, quad camera (108 MP + 12 MP wide + 10 MP telephoto + 10 MP periscope), 5000 mAh battery, glass back panel (unlike the plastic ones of younger brothers) and support for the S Pen stylus.

By the way, in addition to smartphones, tablets are also worth waiting for at the presentation. Source: Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8 + and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablets will be presented along with the Galaxy S22  and possibly other innovations.
