On February 22, Halo will receive an update of the rating matches system
343 Industries announced that another update for Halo Infinite will be released next week. It will change the choice for ranking matches. According to the studio, this will make the battles more balanced and fair.
The skill assessment system has analyzed real matches since the release of Halo Infinite and now the team is ready to add some experience to the shooter. After the update, the mechanism should better assess the level of players and distribute them according to the appropriate fights.
In addition, with the introduction of the new system, all users will reset the rating counter. Because gamers' levels have been artificially inflated in the past, calibration after a reset may show one rank lower than in the past. Zeroing will occur in the middle of the season, so the maximum rank that can be obtained after calibration will increase from Diamond 1 to Diamond 5.
The update will be available on February 22. The changes in the rating system will not end there - the developers promise to make edits in the future, listening to the opinions of players.
