Ukrainian air defense shot down two Onyx missiles, with which Russia attacked the Odessa region

Russia once again tried to launch a missile attack on the Odessa region, but the air defense system coped with the missiles.

What is known

This was announced by Sergei Bratchuk, the speaker of the Odessa Regional Military Administration. According to him, on the night of June 19, the Ukrainian air defense system destroyed both Onyx-type missiles that were flying from the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula.

The operational command "South" reports that the purpose of the missile strikes on the territory of the Odessa region is Russia's desire to exert psychological pressure on the population and destroy the strategic reserves of Ukraine. The enemy is constantly trying to destroy the infrastructure of regions where there are no hostilities.

Thus, the Russian Federation has four missiles less in two days. On the night of June 18, air defense shot down two more Onyx missiles, which were launched from the Crimea and headed towards the Odessa region.
