Ukrainian troops will begin to master the German MLRS MARS II next week
The day before, the German government published a list of weapons that will be sent to Ukraine. The list includes MLRS MARS II, which Ukrainian soldiers will begin to master very soon.
What is known
"Military" with reference to the German edition Focus reports that the exercises for the Ukrainian military will begin next week. This was stated by Christine Lambrecht, German Defense Minister during her speech in the Bundestag.
How long the exercises will last is unknown. During these, our soldiers will work together with German colleagues to learn commands in German to control the MLRS computer system.
Recall that MARS II - This is a multiple launch rocket system. MARS - an abbreviation for MiTtlere Artillerie Raketen System (medium-range artillery missile system). The launcher is located on a tracked chassis and is almost identical M270 MLRS.
