In China, they tested the Unitree B1 robot dog, which can walk under water and carry loads weighing more than 100 kg (video)
The Chinese company Unitree Robotics showed a video of testing its four-legged robot dog Unitree B1.
What can?
Unitree B1 successfully passed several tests at once. So, the robot can walk underwater thanks to IP68 water protection - only its antenna remains above the surface, which is necessary for control.
The manufacturer claims that the robot is capable of carrying loads weighing about 80 kg. However, in the video, he “rolled” a man in uniform who weighs more than 100 kg.
Unitree B1 walks at speeds up to 1.8 meters per second. The charge of its battery is enough for 2-4 hours of work. The robot is also able to walk up stairs and rough terrain.
The robot is designed to move through hard-to-reach places and areas with problematic terrain.
