YouTube launches Premium Lite, a cheap version of its paid subscription service that doesn't guarantee no adverts

Google has started testing a low-cost version of its paid YouTube Premium subscription service with limited features.
Here's What We Know
As previously reported, the tariff is called YouTube Premium Lite and is still available only in the US for $7.99 per month. The company will soon offer this subscription to residents of Thailand, Germany, and Australia.
Premium Lite only allows you to watch videos and listen to podcasts without adverts, but YouTube Music will not be included in this offer. Also, subscribers to the new tariff will not be able to download videos to their device and run them in the background - the standard Premium is required for that.
Surprisingly, judging by the description of YouTube Premium Lite features, the company does not guarantee complete absence of adverts, they may appear while listening to music, playing Shorts videos or browsing YouTube feed.
