The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian MT-LB APC with a 100 mm MT-12 Rapira cannon
The Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded another destroyed MT-LB armored personnel carrier as an asset.
What is known
As usual, the artillery was triggered together with an unmanned aerial vehicle. The drone tracked the armored personnel carrier, after which it struck with the MT-12 "Rapira" gun caliber 100 mm.
The anti-tank gun appeared more than 50 years ago. It is a modernization of the T-12 smoothbore gun. MT-12 "Rapira" can hit targets at distances up to 8200 m, depending on the type of projectile. Shooting rate is up to 14 rounds per minute.

The MT-LB is a floating multipurpose armored personnel carrier. The fighting vehicle is very often used as a tractor to transport artillery systems. The armament of the APC includes a 7.62 mm machine gun. The MT-LB is equipped with 240 horsepower engine and can reach a speed of 61.5 km/h. Cruising range is 500 km.
