The DJI Avata FPV drones will have a 48MP camera, can reach speeds of 97 km/h and will cost $630
DJI will unveil an FPV drone next week. The model is called DJI Avata.
What we know
The drone will be 180 x 180 x 180 mm dimensions, with speed of 97 km/h. The maximum flight altitude - 5 km. DJI Avata will be equipped with a 2420 mAh battery, which will provide 18 min flight time.
The quadcopter will support three modes of operation: manual, sport and normal. The radius of flight of the drone will be 10 km from the launch point.
DJI Avata will be equipped with a 48MP camera based on CMOS sensor optical format 1/1.7 ". The aperture is f/2 .8. The camera will support shooting video in 4K UHD with H.264 and H.265 codecs. Image refresh rate is not specified yet.
Built-in memory - 20 GB. If desired, users can expand storage with a micro SD card to 256 GB. Also the drone will get USB-C to connect to personal computers.
The DJI Avata will cost $630. The price of the Fly More Combo kit with DJI Goggles V2 and controller is not specified yet. The drone will be announced on August 25.
