The company's founders gave an interview to the BBC Russian service the other day, and CEO Haluk Bayraktar said that they would not sell their drones to Russia, "no matter how much money is offered."
"Money is not a priority for us. Money and material resources have never been a goal in our business," he stressed.
Haluk Bayraktar recalled that Bayraktar systems have been in use in Ukraine since 2018.
"So no matter how much money they offer us, frankly, it is out of the question to give them (drones to Moscow) in this situation. During this period, all of our support is completely on the side of Ukraine because we have a very strong bond and Ukraine is experiencing a very unfair, aggressive and unwarranted attack."
Haluk Bayraktar said he is proud that the technology they have developed supports Ukraine's fight for independence. He added that Ukraine is fighting for a free world. And his brother Selchuk Bayraktar called the Russian invasion of Ukraine an "unjust and illegal war" and the Ukrainian people noble.
Recall that Baykar Technologies recently Baykar Technologies established a company in Ukraine to produce Bayraktar strike drones with Ukrainian engines and parts.
