Associated Press: Iran transfers "hundreds" of drones to Russia despite U.S. threats

According to Western intelligence, Iran has handed over to Russia "hundreds" of its drones.

Here's What We Know

The Associated Press writes about it. Tehran handed over its UAVs, despite threats from the US and its partners. The exact number and model of the drone is not named, but it is rumored that it is the Shahed 129 UAV.

Flashback

The drone was based on the captured American MQ-1 Predator drone. Shahed 129 can carry high-precision missiles and can stay in the air for up to 24 hours. The maximum flight range of the UAV reaches 1700 km. By the way, the MQ-1 Predator was used for air strikes during the civil war in Syria. Development of the drone began in 2005, and it entered into service of Iran in 2012.
