Xiaomi recently unveiled the budget smartphone Redmi A1, the manufacturer's first model from 2019 on "pure" Android. Now, according to insiders, the Chinese company is preparing another entry-level gadget - the Redmi A1+.

Here's What We Know

The phone has previously appeared on various certification sites confirming its existence. And now its renders and specs data have appeared. According to the available information, Redmi A1+ is very similar to the usual Redmi A1, the only important difference is the presence of a fingerprint scanner on the back.

The rest of the specifications and design are the same: MediaTek Helio A22, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a 6.52-inch display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels, an 8-megapixel main camera with a second additional sensor, a 5 MP front facing V-cut and a 5000 mAh battery with a 10W charger.

The source also indicates a screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, but this parameter is highly questionable. As for software, the smartphone will run on Android 12 OS with a standard user interface.

The price of the Redmi A1+ is unknown, but it will clearly be higher than the Redmi A1. The latter, by the way, costs 80 dollars in India and 99 euros in Europe.
