The Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival should return next year
Square Enix is going to bring back the Final Fantasy 14 fan festival as early as next year. It announced this during a recent Letter from the Producer broadcast.
Here's What We Know
The festival will take place in Las Vegas and London next year, with the final event scheduled for 2024 in Japan. During the live stream, producer and director Naoki Yoshida also revealed that the game currently has over 27 million registered players worldwide.
As you can see from the trailer above, such events are extremely popular now game fans, but the 2021 event was held online. Notably, Yoshida also announced that he would provide some important information in an interview for Famitsu.
"It wouldn't be right to hold FanFest without something substantial, so we plan to make it a fun-filled event with surprises waiting for you. So we hope you're looking forward to the start of the event, too," Yoshida said.
The executive notes that the team needs four months between major updates to get ready for the festival.
