Xiaomi unveiled a 70" 4K Redmi Smart TV A70 for $420

Xiaomi has expanded its range of Redmi smart TVs. The manufacturer announced the model Redmi Smart TV A70.

The novelty is equipped with a 4K ULTRA HD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. To achieve a low price, the company had to give up the increased refresh rate of the image. The DCI-P3 color gamut is 78 percent. According to the manufacturer, the TV screen can display 1 billion colors.

The TV got 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The heart of the Redmi Smart TV A70 is a single-core system with four Cortex-A35 cores.

The novelty is equipped with two 10W speakers, two USB and HDMI ports, as well as an AV input, an Ethernet jack and S/PDIF. The Redmi Smart TV A70 supports smart home device control and screen projection protocols from smartphones (Android / iOS) and personal computers (Windows macOS).

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Redmi Smart TV A70 runs on the proprietary MIUI TV firmware and has already gone on sale, but so far only in China. The manufacturer's recommended price for the TV is $420.
