Grandchildren live across country. Projecting video calls makes their faces larger so these old eyes can see better. Technology confusing but worthwhile when four-year-old shows me her drawings big on wall. Missing them hurts less somehow

The lumens conversation in mini projector threads is always people arguing about specs that only matter if ur watching at noon. Camping = no ambient light = 200 lumens looks fine. Backyard movie night starts at 9pm = also fine. The only people who need 1000+ lumens are people watching in lit rooms and those people shouldnt have bought a mini projector

iphone doesn't do chromecast, it's apple only. if ur projector has google tv but no airplay u need the nebula app as a middleman and sometimes it works fine and sometimes it decides tonight is not the night. wired via lightning or usb-c to hdmi is the only zero-drama option for iphone specifically

3 camping trips with the Nebula Capsule 3. Fits in a jacket pocket, sets itself up in like 3 seconds, netflix runs on it directly. The battery doing 2.5hrs is real - we watched Dune part 2 and had maybe 20 minutes left. For camping specifically it just lives in my pack now π₯
