Windows 11's redesigned tabbed taskbar explorer is now available to all users

After releasing the Windows 11 2022 update to all users last month, Microsoft hasn't stopped adding new features to the system. At the top of the list are tabs in Explorer and a right-click task manager shortcut.

Windows users have been waiting for tabs in Explorer for years, and now Microsoft has finally pleased users. Along with the new design, it brings a long-awaited feature. The new Explorer now has tabs with which you can navigate several folders at once, which makes copying and pasting files much easier. This feature was tested four years ago in Windows 10, then it was called Sets. But something didn't work out and Microsoft has closed the project.

Also, suggested actions have appeared in the system. For example, if you copy the date or phone number, Windows 11 will create a helpful hint, which will allow you to create a video call using Teams, Skype or Phone Link, or quickly add an event to your calendar.

And speaking of lost: the task manager shortcut, which you can call directly from the taskbar. For some reason in the eleventh version of the system Microsoft decided to get rid of this useful feature, even though it was, it seems, with Windows XP. In any case, after upgrading the system, you will be able to access the dispatcher still simply by right-clicking on the taskbar.

At the end of the month, the company is also going to release an updated Photos program, which will support iCloud Photos and update the interface of memories from the One Drive gallery.
