Germany will redeploy its Eurofighter Typhoon fighters and Patriot systems to Poland, SAMs will be placed on the border with Ukraine
Germany, after the recent incident on the Ukrainian-Polish border, offered to help Poles strengthen their air defense.

German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht made the announcement. Germany will send its Eurofighter Typhoon fighters to Poland to patrol the skies. In addition, the Germans will send their Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Poland.

Eurofighter Typhoon is a European fourth generation fighter, which entered service in 2003. The aircraft is produced by Eurofighter GmbH. It can reach speeds of up to 2,450 km/h. The range is approximately 1,400 km in fighter mode and 600 km in attack aircraft mode.
Patriot is an American anti-aircraft missile system, which is used by the U.S. Army and its allies. The air defense system is produced by Raytheon company.
