The American billionaire Elon Musk does not give up trying to make Twitter verification icons available to everyone.
Here's What We Know
The new owner of Twitter returned to the subject of "ticks" and promises to add three verification badges at once. They will be different in color. Government accounts will get a gray check mark, and company accounts will get a yellow one.

Gold check for companies, grey check for government, blue for individuals (celebrity or not) and all verified accounts will be manually authenticated before check activates.
Painful, but necessary.
The blue badge will be available to ordinary users of the social network. And everyone who won't spare $8 to subscribe to Twitter Blue, not just famous personalities. According to the American billionaire, the limits of popularity are too subjective.
After the influx of fake accounts, the launch of the updated verification system was scheduled for November 29, but later a new date was set - December 2. According to Elon Musk, the verification of the accounts will be done manually. The details of this procedure will be published later.
