In 2023, South Korea will host the world drone racing championship with a prize fund of $100,000

Next fall, South Korea will host the first World Drone Racing Championships since 2019.
Here's What We Know
The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) has announced that South Korea will host the next championship. The event will be held Oct. 6-9, 2023, at a stadium in Jeolla-Pukko Province, two hours from Seoul. The tournament prize fund will be $100,000.
The championship has not been held for three years because of quarantine restrictions related to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. In 2018 and 2019, the tournament was held in China.
