Samsung Launches the Odyssey OLED G9, featuring a dual quad-HD 49” 1800R curved display with quantum dot technology

Samsung has unveiled its latest addition to the Odyssey lineup, the OLED G9 (Model Number: G95SC). This dual quad-HD 49" 1800R curved display boasts a 32:9 ratio and a quantum dot technology OLED lighting system that is controlled pixel-by-pixel, allowing for a near-infinite color contrast ratio.

The OLED screen is capable of illuminating each pixel separately and does not require a backlight, providing a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio while delivering true RGB and true black without color filters.

The Odyssey OLED G9 also offers a 0.1ms response time and a 240Hz refresh rate for a smooth gaming experience with no lagging or skipping.

The Odyssey OLED G9 also features Smart Hub, a platform that allows users to stream content from partners such as Prime Video, Netflix and YouTube without the need for a PC. Additionally, it is equipped with Samsung Gaming Hub, a game streaming platform that provides access to games from partners such as Xbox and NVIDIA GeForce Now.
