Great addition to AMX-10 RC and M2 Bradley: AFU will receive 20-40 German Marder infantry fighting vehicles
Following France and the United States, Germany also announced the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine.

We are talking about Marder infantry fighting vehicles. Voice of America journalist Ostap Jarysh said this on Twitter. Germany will also take on the responsibility to train Ukrainian crews to use the BMPs. By the way, according to the German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, Germany plans to transfer 20-40 machines to the AFU. There is no timeframe for delivery of the weapons yet.

Marder is a German tracked armored infantry fighting vehicle. It is in service of the Bundeswehr since the 1970s. BMP has many modifications and accommodates up to 10 people. The Marder boasts a sealed hull made of armor plates of several varieties up to 30 mm thick. They protect the front of the BMP from 20mm and 25mm bullets from a distance of 200m, and the sides from shrapnel and 7.62mm small arms. The armament is a 20mm RH 202 automatic cannon and a 7.62mm MG3 machine gun in tandem with it. The BMP also has another machine gun on the roof of the troop compartment.
