Germany wants to buy 15 Gepard anti-aircraft tanks with ammunition from Qatar and hand them over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The Gepard is a German-made self-propelled anti-aircraft gun that is built on the chassis of a Leopard tank. It is designed to cover the ground troops, destroy air targets at an inclined range of 100 m to 4 km and at altitudes up to 3 km flying at a speed of 350-400 m/s, as well as ground and surface targets at a range of up to 4500 meters.

Incidentally, Ukraine now has 30 Gepard anti-aircraft tanks in service. The AFU uses them to destroy Iranian kamikaze drones Shahed-136 and other aerial targets.
