Baykar Makina unveils Bayraktar TB3 prototype: a new Turkish strike UAV with folding wings and flight time of up to 50 hours
Turkish company Baykar Makina has unveiled the prototype of its new Bayraktar TB3 drone.

The novelty is the successor to the Bayraktar TB2. The BLPA is now being prepared for its maiden flight. The drone has received increased dimensions, slightly modified appearance, as well as folding wings. Thanks to them, the drone will be able to be based on ships. The drone will be powered by a new turbo-diesel aircraft engine.

In terms of specifications, the Bayraktar TB3 will get a maximum take-off weight of 1,450 kg with a payload of 280 kg. It will be airborne for up to 50 hours. The drone will be shown publicly for the first time at the Teknofest exhibition to be held in Istanbul from April 27 to May 1. By the way, in the future, the drone will be used on the Turkish Navy's flagship aircraft carrier, TCG Anadolu.
