Ukraine buys 100 Rosomak amphibious armoured personnel carriers from Poland, a modification of the Finnish Patria armoured personnel carrier
Ukraine continues to rearm with equipment of NATO standards. Information has now emerged that the Armed Forces will receive Polish Rosomak armoured personnel carriers.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told about it. We are talking about a batch of 100 units. The purchase of the combat vehicles will be co-financed by the European Union and the United States of America. There is no information when supplies of the armoured personnel carriers will commence. The amount of the contract is also unknown.

Rosomak is a Polish amphibious armoured personnel carrier that is a lensed copy of the Finnish Patria APC. The vehicle is manufactured by Rosomak S.A. The APC has 8×8 wheelbase and diesel engine DI 12 Scania with 480 hp or 543 hp. The Rosomak can reach speeds of up to 100 km/h on the road and swim at a speed of 10 km/h. The main armament is a 30 mm ATK Mk44 Bushmaster II gun. The APC is also equipped with a UKM-2000C coaxial machine gun.
