Ford F - most popular cars in the US early 2023, with only two Tesla electric cars in the top 25
Ford F-Series vehicles will be the most popular in the US automotive market in the first quarter of 2023. Car And Driver has published the top 25 best-selling vehicles in the US market in early 2023.
Here's What We Know
Ford was able to sell 170,377 F-Series vehicles in three months, including 4,291 F-150 Lightning electric pickups. Compared to the first quarter of 2022, sales increased immediately by 21%.
The Chevy Silverado is in the second position with 123,994 units. Ram Pickup (105 350 units) is in the third place. There are two Tesla electric cars in the top 25. The Model Y crossover is in fourth place and the Model 3 sedan closed the top 10. Estimated sales were 85,000 and 63,000 units respectively.
Toyota has the largest quantities in the top 25. The RAV4 saw a 16% drop in sales in the first quarter of 2023. Camry, Highlander, Tacoma and Corolla models also made the ranking. Total sales were over 300,000 units. You can read more about the top 25 below.
