The sums are impressive: The Last of Us: Part II and Horizon: Forbidden West production budgets have been revealed

An unusual mishap occurred during one of the court hearings in the FTC's case against Microsoft.

Here's What We Know

Sony submitted a document to the court that, among other data, contained information about the production budgets of two PlayStation exclusives - The Last of Us: Part II and Horizon: Forbidden West. But because the FTC's side of the story poorly covered the important figures - the whole world has learnt about them.

So,

• The Last of Us: Part II, a dramatic action game from Naughty Dog, cost the Japanese corporation 220 million dollars to produce, and the game was developed by 200 people;
• Horizon: Forbidden West required little less money - $212 million, but the game was created by 300 people.

Note that these figures do not include marketing costs.
