SpaceX conducts static firing tests of new Starship prototype spacecraft engines
Aerospace company SpaceX is already preparing to re-launch Starship into space. It conducted a static firing test of the new prototype's engines this week.
Here's What We Know
The Starship prototype is simply called Ship. The April launch involved the 24th prototype, Ship 24. On June 27 at 21:27 (EDT) or 18:27 (PDT), the company conducted an engine test of Ship 25.

The fire test lasted about 5 seconds. The spacecraft is equipped with six Raptor engines. During the test, all propulsion systems operated simultaneously.
SpaceX specialists have made more than 1,000 changes to the spacecraft's design. A second attempt to send Starship into space is expected in about six weeks, as recently announced by the head of the company, Elon Musk.

Note that the 120m tall rocket system consists of the Starship and the Super Heavy rocket. The latter has 33 Raptor engines that produce more than 7,000 tonnes of thrust. The giant system will be used to launch large second-generation Starlink satellites into orbit, as well as to land astronauts on Mars and the Moon.
