Samsung prepares the Galaxy SmartTag 2 for release

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy SmartTag tracker in 2021 and now seems to be working on its successor.

Here's What We Know

The device, named Galaxy SmartTag 2, has surfaced in the Bluetooth SIG database. According to the documents, the gadget will come with Bluetooth 5.3 module instead of Bluetooth 5.1 (installed in the original model).

Unfortunately, no other specs of the new product are available yet. We can only assume that the Galaxy SmartTag 2 will get UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) support, increased battery life and extended range.

When We Can Expect It

The Galaxy SmartTag 2 is likely to be released at the Galaxy Unpacked presentation later this month. The device will be unveiled along with the Galaxy Fold 5, Galaxy Flip 5 and other new products from the company.
