Samsung Galaxy S22 receives July security update in Europe and US
All smartphones in Samsung's flagship Galaxy S22 family have received a security patch for the Android operating system. The update has been released in both Europe and the US.

The first to install the new version of the software were users in Europe. The update number S90xBXXS6CWF6 became available for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The update size is 305MB.
A few days later the update was released in the US. The firmware for the carrier versions of the smartphones has the number S90xU1UES3CWF3. The Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra without carrier tethering received the software number S90xUSQS3CWF3.
The update brought a security patch for the Android 13 operating system and came with no new features. The July update fixes nearly a hundred security vulnerabilities found in the previous firmware version.
