Australia to transfer a new batch of Bushmaster armoured vehicles to the AFU
Following Germany, France, the UK and Norway, the Australian government has also announced a new military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Here's What We Know
This was announced by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the NATO summit in Vilnius. The new aid package will include 30 Bushmaster armoured vehicles.
I've just met with President @ZelenskyyUa and confirmed we'll provide 30 more Australian-made Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles to support Ukraine.

By the way, earlier Australia transferred 90 such vehicles to the AFU. The first batch of Bushmaster arrived in Ukraine in April 2022. The vehicles are manufactured by the Australian company Thales Australia. The vehicle is capable of carrying up to 9 fighters. It has protection of STANAG4569 standard. That is, the car is not afraid of mines and small arms.
