The wave of layoffs in the gaming division of Sony is gaining momentum: it became known about the cuts in the studio Bungie - the author of popular shooters Destiny and Halo
Layoffs at Sony's gaming division continue.
Earlier it was reported about layoffs at Naughty Dog and Media Molecule (Little Big Planet) - these studios have long been part of Sony. However, layoffs will also take place in the studio Bungie, which was bought by the Japanese company in July last year.

As it became known to Bloomberg journalist and authoritative insider Jason Schreier, Bungie employees today received an internal letter from the company's CEO Pete Parsons. He warned colleagues about the start of a wave of layoffs, but it's not yet known how many employees will leave Bungie.
Destiny 2 developer Bungie is the latest PlayStation studio to have layoffs. Full scope isn't clear yet, but CEO Pete Parsons emailed the company this morning to say they'll be having a team meeting today to talk about "some news today coming out of Bungie" as staff are informed

Recall, Bungie studio is known as the creator of popular shooters Destiny and Halo. At the moment, the developers are working on the shooter Marathon and an unannounced game.
