A comic book instead of a sequel: Returnal developers announced Fallen Asteria graphic novel

To celebrate three years since the release of the roguelike action game Returnal, Housemarque Studios has made a surprise announcement.

No, the company didn't present a sequel to Returnal or announce the development of a new game, it announced the release of a graphic novel with the subtitle Fallen Asteria.

Here's What We Know

The Returnal: Fallen Asteria comic book is being released by Dark Horse Publishing. It will have 88 pages and judging by the brief description, the graphic novel will retell the events of the game.

It's likely that some storylines will be expanded upon.

Housemarque has released a video showing the plot of the first issue of Returnal: Fallen Asteria, which will be released on 22 October.

A 224-page artbook, also dedicated to Returnal, will also go on sale the same day.
