The US is preparing a new $275m aid package for the AFU, which will include ammunition for artillery and HIMARS rocket systems

Following the UK, the US is also preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine.

According to the source, the aid package will include 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells. In addition, Ukraine will receive an additional batch of HIMARS multiple rocket launchers.

HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is a highly mobile artillery rocket system developed by Lockheed Martin for the US Army. HIMARS is a lightweight launcher mounted on a wheeled chassis, which gives it high mobility and speed of deployment. The system is capable of launching both unguided rockets and high-precision GMLRS missiles.
