Media: Take-Two intends to sell or shut down Private Division, a publisher that has been dedicated to supporting independent developers

A few days ago we reported that the publisher Private Division, which is a part of Take-Two holding, has Private Division has broken its co-operation agreement with Bloober Team and will not publish the Polish studio's ambitious horror game Project C and will not publish the ambitious horror game Project C from the Polish studio.

The American company did not explain the reasons for the termination of the contract, which caused misunderstanding and gave rise to rumours and speculation. It seems that the answer turned out to be much simpler than one could guess.

Here's What We Know

No, Bloober Team is not to blame for the situation.

According to IGN portal sources familiar with the state of affairs at Take-Two, the American giant intends to sell or, failing that, close down the Private Division publishing house.

It is reported that the tension between the parent company and the label began in February, when there was a large-scale wave of layoffs, after which Take-Two made it clear that it does not intend to invest resources in the development and support of Private Division.

Employees were notified that the company could be shut down or sold, which only emphasises the difficult situation.

IGN's sources claim that the problems at Private Division were the result of rash decisions and unrealistic plans by both Take-Two executives and the publisher itself.

Private Division was made up of amazing, talented and passionate people. They adored their work, and Take-Two has absolutely no regard for their employees.

According to IGN, an unnamed private equity firm is already interested in buying Private Division
