TP-Link has announced a new compact travel router TL-WR1502X with Wi-Fi 6, 3G/4G USB modem mode and mobile hotspot support

TP-Link has introduced a new travel router TL-WR1502X, which can be used as a 3G/4G USB modem or mobile hotspot.

Here's What We Know

The router fits easily in the palm of your hand and has a number of features that make it ideal for travellers. It supports a Wi-Fi 6 network with two bands: up to 1.2Gbps on 5GHz and 300Mbps on 2.4GHz. It also has two gigabit network ports and a USB 2.0 interface for added flexibility.

The router can work as a 3G/4G USB modem, a USB network device or a mobile hotspot. It also supports access point, signal booster and client modes, making it a versatile device for any travelling situation.

For security, OpenVPN and WireGuard protocols are supported, allowing you to stay safe when using public Wi-Fi.
