Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will surprise gamers with a complex and brutal combat system: Warhorse's PR manager shared important details about the ambitious role-playing game
The developers of the medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 continue to share interesting details about their new project.
PR-manager of Warhorse studio Tobias Stolz-Zwilling gave an interview to YouTube-channel SxyBiscuit, in which he voiced several important theses.
Here's What We Know
The community manager confirmed that the studio will significantly improve the combat system of the original game and in the sequel it will become more complex, brutal, spectacular and spectacular, and each weapon will have a unique set of animations.
Tobias Stolz-Zwilling can't guarantee 100% yet, but he is sure that there will be add-ons and major content updates for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. He noted that the Warhorse team already has ideas for DLC and they will try to bring them to life.
To the interviewer's question about whether the game will have an official editor for creating and distributing modifications, Tobias said that the studio understands the importance of such an option and will most likely implement it, but only on PC, and it will not be available on consoles.
Stolz-Zwilling also emphasised that Warhorse Studios developers have full creative freedom and Deep Silver publishing house does not interfere in the workflow.
There was also a reasonable question: whether Warhorse is not planning to release a remaster of the first part of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, to which the manager unequivocally replied: at the moment there is no such possibility, because it requires additional resources. But if someday there will be a partner who will be ready to finance the remaster - it will definitely be released.
When We Can Expect It
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is expected to release in late 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
