An insider reported that the Huawei Mate 70 series could get improved cameras with 3D zoom, satellite connectivity and more advanced AI
According to the latest leaks, Huawei is preparing to launch a new series of Mate 70 smartphones, which promises to be a real breakthrough in mobile photography and connectivity. According to Chinese insider Smart Pikachu, the devices will get improved displays, more powerful charging capabilities, as well as advanced cameras with 3D zoom capability.
Here's What We Know
According to the insider, one of the most interesting features is 3D spatial scaling, which should take video and audio quality to the next level, surpassing traditional 2D filters. The devices may also feature a next-generation periscopic lens and variable aperture technology.
According to rumours, the new Mate 70 series will be equipped with new OmniVision camera sensors, which could improve the overall shooting quality. It is speculated that the cameras in this series may outperform the Pura 70 series. It is also reported that the Mate 70 smartphones are being developed with 3D facial recognition lens to enhance security.
The Mate 70 series will also boast satellite connectivity, although it is not yet known whether it will include satellite image transmission or will be limited to satellite calling functionality. In terms of displays, the Mate 70 series is expected to be split: three models, including the "Ultimate Design" variant, could get curved screens, while the base versions will feature flat 1.5K resolution screens. The leak also points to optimised wireless charging for the new lineup.
The Kirin processor for the Mate 70 models will reportedly get new, higher-performance cores, and features with artificial intelligence will be improved. The Mate 70 series smartphones will run on the HarmonyOS NEXT operating system and are expected to be unveiled in October, according to the whistleblower.
