Tesla adds YouTube Music, Amazon Music, AQI score, and new parental control features in update 2024.26

Tesla has released a new software update for its electric vehicles that adds a number of new features, including new music services, air quality and parental control functions.

Here's What We Know

Update 2024.26 makes YouTube Music and Amazon Music available to Tesla owners with a Premium Connectivity subscription or active Wi-Fi. It also adds the Air Quality Index (AQI), which shows drivers the air quality in their area.

Parental Control allows Tesla owners to limit the speed and acceleration for inexperienced drivers, as well as receive notifications if the car is used at night.

Update 2024.26 is expected to be available to all Tesla owners in the coming weeks.
