Blizzard has unveiled a new Spiritborn class that will appear in Diablo IV with the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion - it can summon nature spirits

Blizzard has unveiled the first trailer dedicated to the new class - Spiritborn, which will appear in Diablo IV with the release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Here's What We Know

The Spiritborn has a strong connection to the spirits of the Nahantu jungle, a region that players will explore in Vessel of Hatred.

It will be the fastest and most manoeuvrable class in the Diablo series. He wields a double-edged glaive, but more importantly, Spiritborn's ability to summon the spirits of four animals to aid him in battle: a jaguar, a gorilla, an eagle and a giant centipede.

Each of the creatures has unique abilities, advantages and weaknesses, for example, the gorilla will be an excellent defender, the eagle delivers accurate and fast attacks, and the jaguar deals area damage.

Interestingly, players will be able to use one or more Spiritborns to create their own builds.

When We Can Expect It

Vessel of Hatred will be released on 8 October on PC (Battle.net and Steam) and PlayStation and Xbox consoles of both current generations.
