Silent Hill 2 remake will feature a graphical filter that will take gamers back to the atmosphere of the 1990s
The horror Silent Hill 2 is, without exaggeration, one of the most significant and iconic games of its time. It has a huge number of fans, who closely follow every decision of Bloober Team studio, which is developing the remake of the game.
Poles perfectly understand this and do their best to please the critically minded Silent Hill fans, which is confirmed by a short video.
Here's What We Know
Bloober Team announced that Silent Hill 2 Remake will feature several options that will give the updated game the atmosphere of the original. In particular, players will be able to switch on the mode of increased image graininess to give the game the look of a cassette tape, as well as use the dimming on the edges of the screen.
In addition, the atmosphere will also be affected by the ability to switch off all interface elements so that nothing distracts players from fully immersing themselves in James Sunderland's personal nightmare. In this case, as in the original game, the protagonist automatically turns his head if he sees useful items near him, and focuses his gaze on the enemies.
Disabling the interface will allow you to make the most atmospheric screenshots.
