Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier is sure that the release of GTA VI is not postponed to 2026. At least not yet.

We have already reported that Rockstar Universe publisher, which regularly shares news about the famous studio's games and has not been seen in the spread of fakes, denied the GTA VI may not come out in 2025! Insider reported about the possible postponement of the release of the most anticipated game of our time.

Despite this, many gamers are still worried about the fact that the rumour did not arise from nothing and may still be true. Perhaps they will be reassured by the words of one of the most authoritative journalists and game industry insiders.

Here's What We Know

Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier interviewed six Rockstar employees, and all of them assured him that they had not heard about the management's decision to postpone the release of the most anticipated game.

In doing so, Schreier emphasised two points:

  1. Having all six interviewees unaware of the postponement of GTA VI does not guarantee that it won't happen in the future.
  2. GTA VI is an extremely large and ambitious game and at any stage there could be problems that lead to its postponement.

But at the moment everything is going according to plan and there is no reason to postpone the release to 2026.

Recall, Grand Theft Auto VI will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and only after some time will be available on PC.
